Dr. Stella Nemuseso, CEO and founder of DTAWS is a Doctor of Physical Therapy, a Certified Lifestyle Coach, a Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) Ambassador, a Master Trainer Select for the National Diabetes Prevention Program (NDPP) trained at DTTAC Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, a certified lifestyle coach, and a Lead Trainer for Peer Diabetes Educators for Diabetes Self-management Education (DSME) using the Diabetes Empowerment Education Program (DEEP).
She has vast experience in the evaluation and treatment of persons suffering from multiple conditions, chronic disease management, prevention, and addressing disparities for diabetes, heart, strokes, and heart diseases in underserved communities. As a health and wellness educator, she advocates for healthy lifestyle changes.
She currently serves as the PTA Program Director for a developing program at Rasmussen College. DTAWS trains Lifestyle Coaches for the CDC NDPP and Peer Diabetes Educators for DSME. DTAWS support services for implementing community-based DPP and DSME.
